The iconic Michelle Yeoh made Hollywood history this year, becoming only the second woman of color and the first Asian woman to win the Oscar for Best Actress for her performance in Everything, Everywhere All at Once. We’re celebrating by turning back the clock on Yeoh’s career to 1992 for the action and stunt spectacular POLICE STORY 3: SUPERCOP.

Yeoh teams up with Jackie Chan in this third film of the (awesome) Police Story franchise, playing an Interpol agent on a dangerous undercover mission to take down a drug cartel. According to Quentin Tarantino the film features “[the] greatest stunts ever filmed in any movie ever.” Yeoh was no slouch, marvel as she leaps from moving cars and even jumps a dirt bike onto a moving train – just another day at the office. Pre-show starts at 7:30 pm with screening at 8 pm!

NARO MINDED – A regular series of free public screenings of cult favorites and new releases to share updates on Old Dominion University Libraries’ ongoing project to re-open Naro Expanded Video.
