Film Break Society Presents:  The Killer
Thursday, May 28th at 8pm!

John Woo’s THE KILLER returns to the big screen looking as lavish and beautiful as ever thanks to restoration efforts by the team at Shout! Studios. After a long, successful career murdering people for suitcases of cash, high-end assassin Ah-Jong (Chow Yun-fat) takes one last job before hanging up his fake mustache and sniper rifle for good. When he accidentally blinds a beautiful singer (Sally Yeh), the remorseful hit man takes a sketchy gig to pay for surgery to restore her sight. It doesn’t go well. Double-crossed and on the run, Ah-Jong’s only hope for escape from the killer’s life comes from an unlikely friendship with the cop (Danny Lee) assigned to capture him. (1989, R, 1h 51m)

Beer and wine sales benefit Film Break Society, a non‑profit screening series dedicated to big‑screen presentations of restorations and independent cinema.
